When replacing buckets on a chain-type Z bucket elevator, finding a bucket with a similar overall shape is not enough. The bucket dimensions, side mounting structure, hole positions and chain connection details must all match the existing conveyor.

DL3319 Z Bucket Elevator Bucket at a Glance
DL3319 is designed for chain-type Z bucket elevator systems that combine horizontal and vertical conveying. It is suitable for applications where materials need to be transferred gently, such as grain, seeds, snacks, food ingredients, pet food, sugar and other light bulk materials.
Unlike conventional elevator buckets used for centrifugal or gravity discharge, Z elevator buckets travel with the chain and remain in a controlled position through the conveying path. This helps reduce product breakage, spillage and material damage.
Why Exact Matching Matters for DL Buckets
DL buckets used on Z elevators are not fully interchangeable between different equipment manufacturers. Even where two buckets look similar from the front, their dimensions and side mounting arrangements may be different.
For a replacement bucket to fit correctly, please compare the following details with your existing bucket:
- Overall length, width and depth
- Top flange and bottom profile
- Side mounting positions
- Hole diameter and centre distance
- Number and arrangement of mounting points
- Chain type, chain pitch and attachment structure
The side mounting structure is especially important. The DL3319 bucket shown here has a specific side fixing arrangement with reinforced mounting bosses and defined hole positions. A bucket with different side holes or mounting centres may not install correctly, even if the main bucket size appears close.

Please refer to the DL3319 drawing below for the detailed dimensions. The bucket has a nominal size of approximately 330 mm × 198 mm × 110 mm, with a listed capacity of 3.60 L.
The drawing also shows the side mounting details, including the A, B and C fixing locations. Please check the hole diameters, centres and side profile carefully against your current bucket before placing an order.

A Ready-Molded Option When Your Bucket Matches
For customers whose bucket dimensions and side mounting details match our DL3319 design, using the existing mold is usually the fastest and most economical solution. There is no need to wait for new mold development, and production can proceed after the drawing is confirmed.
We supplied 200 white ABS DL3319 elevator buckets to a customer in Thailand for a Z-type bucket elevator. The customer first provided bucket photos for comparison. After the dimensions and design were confirmed, we sent the drawing for approval before production and completed the order within 15–20 days.
This confirmation process is important for every replacement order: first compare the model, then confirm the drawing, and only then arrange production.
What If Your Existing Bucket Is Different?
If your bucket does not match the DL3319 drawing, please do not select it based only on a similar appearance. A small difference in the side hole position, flange width or mounting structure can affect installation and conveyor operation.
For small replacement quantities, developing a completely new mold is often not economical. In this situation, we normally first check whether one of our existing DL bucket models can match your requirements. Besides DL3319, DL4013 and other DL Z elevator bucket models are also available for comparison.
