Description
HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) elevator buckets are widely used in bulk material handling systems for agriculture, mining, manufacturing and other industries. They are suitable for conveying grains, seeds, fertilizers, minerals and other granular or powdered materials. HDPE offers good durability, mechanical strength and chemical resistance for continuous bucket elevator applications.
For this Italy project, the customer selected three bucket types: Euro type, M type and S type. The mounting holes were punched according to the customer’s installation requirements. Material
Elevator buckets can generally be divided into metal and plastic types. Metal elevator buckets are commonly manufactured from mild steel or stainless steel, while plastic elevator buckets are available in HDPE, nylon, polyurethane (PU) and ABS.
Material selection affects service life, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, cost and suitability for different conveyed materials. The appropriate material should therefore be selected according to the operating environment, material characteristics and bucket elevator requirements.

Packing
Elevator buckets are commonly packed using woven bags, protective wrapping film and pallets for export transportation. This packing method helps keep the buckets securely grouped and reduces movement or damage during handling and shipment.
