Project Background and Customer Relationship
This project was completed for one of our long-term international customers who has been cooperating with YT Conveyor for several years. The customer initially purchased custom continuous screw flights from us in 2023 and was satisfied with both the product quality and delivery performance. Based on the successful cooperation and proven reliability of our manufacturing capabilities, the customer placed a repeat order and expanded the procurement scope to include additional bucket elevator components.
The repeat order not only demonstrates the customer’s confidence in our products and services but also reflects our ability to provide a comprehensive range of bulk material handling components. By sourcing multiple products from a single supplier, the customer was able to simplify procurement management, ensure component compatibility, and reduce overall purchasing costs.
Custom Continuous Screw Flights Manufacturing
The main product in this order was custom continuous screw flights designed for use in screw conveyor systems. We manufactured a total of 800 pieces according to the customer’s specified dimensions and technical requirements.

Continuous screw flights are critical components in screw conveyors and play a direct role in conveying efficiency, material flow consistency, and equipment performance. The dimensional accuracy of the flights is particularly important because even small deviations can affect shaft assembly, balancing, and conveying capacity.
During production, strict dimensional control was maintained to ensure consistency across all 800 pieces. The flights were manufactured to provide smooth material movement and reliable performance in bulk handling applications such as grain processing, feed production, fertilizer transportation, and industrial material conveying systems.
Our manufacturing process allows us to produce screw flights in various diameters, pitches, thicknesses, and materials according to customer drawings or application requirements.
Customized Elevator Buckets for Bucket Elevator Systems
In addition to the screw conveyor components, the customer ordered two different models of elevator buckets for use in their bucket elevator equipment.

Bucket elevators are widely used for the vertical transportation of bulk materials, and the bucket design directly influences loading efficiency, discharge performance, and overall system productivity.
The DQ1814 and M2816 elevator buckets supplied in this project are suitable for handling a wide range of materials, including:
- Grain
- Seeds
- Animal feed
- Fertilizer
- Pellets
- Powdered materials
- Other bulk products
To meet the customer’s installation requirements, we customized the bucket hole configuration and completed non-standard hole punching during production. This modification ensured compatibility with the customer’s existing elevator belts and fastening systems, eliminating the need for additional field modifications during installation.
The ability to customize bucket dimensions, materials, hole patterns, and mounting configurations allows us to provide solutions that fit both new equipment and replacement projects.

To ensure complete compatibility between the buckets and fastening system, the order also included elevator bucket bolts.

The screw flights, elevator buckets, and bolts were packed separately according to product type and handling requirements. Reinforced iron cages were used to protect the screw flights from deformation during transportation, while pallets provided stable support for the bucket and bolt packages.
This packing arrangement helps minimize the risk of damage during loading, unloading, and long-distance international transportation, ensuring that the products arrive at the customer’s facility in good condition.
