Ordinary elevator bolts are widely used in bucket elevator systems to fasten buckets securely onto conveyor belts. Their large, flat head helps distribute load evenly across the belt surface, reducing wear and extending service life.

This type of bolt is commonly used with plastic elevator buckets, where load conditions are moderate and extreme anti-rotation performance is not required.

Compared with fanged elevator bolts, ordinary bolts offer a more economical solution, making them ideal for cost-sensitive projects and standard conveying applications.

For heavy-duty systems, ordinary bolts may loosen over time — fanged bolts are recommended.

Technical Advantages

Ordinary elevator bolts are manufactured with 6g thread precision, ensuring accurate fit and reliable assembly. The mechanical strength is above grade 4.8, meeting the requirements of standard conveying applications. Surface treatment options include oxidation or galvanization for basic corrosion protection.

These bolts are mainly used for low-speed conveying of low-density materials, typically in combination with plastic elevator buckets. As a cost-effective solution, they are suitable for standard operating conditions with moderate load and minimal vibration.

For applications requiring higher strength, improved anti-rotation performance, or greater stability, fanged elevator bolt sets are recommended.
