This Colombia project included 200 one-piece LN100 conveyor sprockets for a horizontal scraper conveyor system.
The sprockets were selected to work together with GLF scraper conveyor chain and BF flat drag flights. Correct matching between the chain, sprocket and flight is essential for stable power transmission, smooth chain engagement and reliable conveying performance.

One-Piece LN100 Conveyor Sprocket
This order used a one-piece sprocket design, in which the sprocket body and hub are integrated into one unit. The bore and hub details were machined according to the required drawing for accurate shaft installation and chain engagement.
One-piece and split sprockets are both used in conveyor systems. The suitable design depends on the conveyor arrangement, shaft configuration, installation access and maintenance requirements. For this project, the one-piece type was selected according to the customer’s chain conveyor requirements.
The sprocket drawing specified quenching and tempering treatment, with the sprocket teeth heat-treated to HRC 42-45. The tooth profile was machined according to GB/T 8350.

Matching with GLF Chain and BF Flights
A horizontal scraper conveyor system works through the matching of three key components: the scraper chain, sprocket and flights.
In this Colombia order, the LN100 sprockets were matched with GLF scraper conveyor chain and BF flat drag flights. The sprocket transfers power to the chain, while the BF flights mounted on the chain move bulk material through the conveyor.
