Compared with conventional steel grain silos, simple bulk grain silos provide a more economical and flexible storage solution. They usually require less automation equipment, have a shorter production cycle, and can be installed quickly with lower construction requirements.
Some temporary grain storage silos are equipped with automatic rainproof covers on the top of the structure. In rainy or windy conditions, the cover can be closed automatically to create a more protected storage environment and reduce the impact of external weather conditions.
Simple grain silos have been successfully applied as temporary storage solutions in grain ports, warehouses, and agricultural facilities. Silo cone
The top cone of the silo supports the silo’s top and serves as the entry channel for the material. A material-level device and a temperature-measurement cable outlet elbow are installed on it (the temperature-measurement cable enters the silo from here).
Corrugated board
As the main component of the steel silo, the corrugated plate adopts CNC production line to manufacture the appearance, which is not only beautiful, but also has high precision, high compatibility, easy assembly, good fit after assembly, strong airtightness, and good silo roundness.
Upright
As an important part of the silo body, the column (reinforcement rib) determines the overall stability of the silo. The column adopts a deep trapezoidal section with wings, which is well-proportioned. It is formed on a large hydraulic machine tool at one time, and its bearing capacity is increased by 10% compared to conventional production.
Bolt set with pad
Bolt group with pad is used for connecting and fastening steel silo and column. It is composed of bolt, nut and rubber pad. Play a role of sealing and stopping.
Safety ring
The safety ring is made of high-strength hot-dip galvanized steel pipe, which makes the roof of the silo as a whole and plays an important role in resisting external wind.
Warehouse roof
The silo roof is made of hot-dip galvanised sheet by forming and punching on a CNC production line. Its unique double-bending ribs make the silo roof connection tight, firm and non-deformable, and have stronger bearing capacity.
