YT Conveyor manufactured GLF100 scraper conveyor chains for a customer in Colombia. The order included four GLF100(6)D chain configurations designed for use in a scraper conveyor system.
These chains are part of our GLF and 81X scraper conveyor chain range, which is designed for horizontal scraper conveyors and TGSS flat scraper conveyor applications.
Project Specifications
The Colombia order included the following GLF100 scraper conveyor chains:
- GLF100(6)D×290 without support — 1,000 m
- GLF100(6)D×290 with support — 500 m
- GLF100(6)D×185 — 500 m
- GLF100(6)D×225 (210) — 500 m
The total chain quantity was 2,500 m.
GLF100(6)D×290 Chain without Support
The order included 1,000 m of GLF100(6)D×290 chain without support. The chains were packed in separate bundles for handling and shipment.
GLF100(6)D×290 Chain with Support
The order also included 500 m of GLF100(6)D×290 chain with support. The support configuration was manufactured according to the customer’s required chain arrangement.
GLF100(6)D×185 Chain
For a different conveyor section or matching requirement, 500 m of GLF100(6)D×185 chain was manufactured.
GLF100(6)D×225 (210) Chain
The project also included 500 m of GLF100(6)D×225 (210) scraper conveyor chain.
Matching with BF Flights and Sprockets
The GLF chains in this Colombia order are used together with BF plastic scraper flights and matching sprockets. The BF flight is mounted on the chain attachment and moves with the chain to push bulk material through the conveyor trough.

For reliable system operation, the chain pitch, attachment dimensions, BF flight mounting holes and sprocket configuration should be checked together before production.
Chain Material and Manufacturing
Our GLF scraper conveyor chains are manufactured using 40Mn chain plates and 40Cr pins and rollers. The components are heat-treated to provide strength, wear resistance and stable performance during continuous conveying operation.
GLF chains are commonly used in TGSS flat scraper conveyor systems. They run over sprockets to transmit power and move the mounted scraper flights through the conveyor.
