Project Description
An Ecuadorian customer required approximately 100 m of agricultural scraper conveyor chain. After receiving the basic conveyor width and chain requirements, we prepared a detailed drawing for customer approval. The customer also asked us to match suitable UHMWPE plastic flights and sprockets according to the chain dimensions and required sprocket tooth count.

Assembly
In many projects, customers assemble the chain, flights and sprockets after receiving the goods because separate packing can reduce shipment volume and help lower ocean freight. For this project, however, the customer requested that we assemble the chain and UHMWPE flights before shipment to simplify installation on site.
An assembly charge was therefore included, covering the installation work and standard fastening bolts. For this project, 1,504 sets of M8×35S bolts were used for the chain flight assembly.
Packing
The assembled conveyor components were packed on one pallet with a gross weight of 742 kg, net weight of 720 kg, and packing dimensions of 1.25 × 1.10 × 0.88 m, totaling approximately 1.21 CBM.
For LCL sea freight, charges are commonly calculated based on either cargo weight or measurement, whichever results in the higher freight basis. Minimum chargeable weight or volume may also apply depending on the forwarder and shipping route.
