Product Overview
PVC elevator belts are widely used in bucket elevator systems for transporting bulk materials such as grain, feed, and agricultural products. Compared with rubber belts, PVC belts offer a lighter structure, making installation easier and reducing the load on the conveyor system.
Their non-absorbent surface provides excellent resistance to moisture, which is particularly important in agricultural and grain handling environments. In addition, PVC elevator belts require less maintenance and provide stable performance under normal operating conditions.
For most standard conveying applications, PVC elevator belts offer an ideal balance between performance, durability, and cost.
Solid Woven PVC Belt Construction
Our PVC elevator belt is a solid woven type belt, constructed from interwoven polyester and cotton yarns. The carcass is impregnated with PVC paste resin and plasticized under high temperatures, forming a durable and integrated structure.
Both sides of the belt are coated with PVC. One side features a smooth cover for efficient material handling, while the pulley side is designed with a friction-type surface to ensure reliable traction during operation.
This structure provides excellent flame resistance and anti-static performance, making the belt suitable for safe operation in bulk material handling environments.
Key Features of PVC Elevator Belts
PVC elevator belts are manufactured using a solid woven construction, where polyester and cotton yarns are interwoven into a single integrated unit. Unlike traditional rubber belts, which are built from multiple plies and may have uneven strength between layers, PVC belts provide uniform strength throughout the entire structure, eliminating the risk of delamination or surface peeling.
The belt carcass is fully impregnated with PVC resin, forming a tight and cohesive structure. This significantly improves tear resistance and enhances the belt’s ability to withstand bolt pull-through forces during installation and operation.
PVC material also offers excellent performance in various environments, including:
- Strong resistance to oil, moisture, and chemicals
- Good anti-corrosion and anti-abrasion properties
- Stable performance under continuous operation
Thanks to its lightweight yet solid structure, PVC elevator belts require lower driving power, reducing energy consumption. At the same time, their anti-static and flame-resistant properties contribute to safer operation in conveying systems.
In addition, PVC elevator belts can be produced in food-grade materials, making them ideal for grain handling and other hygienic applications.
Applications
- Grain elevators
