Description
The UHMWPE plastic conveyor flight in this project was used together with a scraper conveyor chain and mounted on the metal scraper attachment of the chain. The customer selected a BF flat-type flight, which is commonly used in horizontal scraper conveyor systems to push bulk materials along the conveyor trough.

Material
The flight was manufactured from UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene), a wear-resistant engineering plastic commonly used for chain conveyor wear and guiding components. After installation on the metal scraper attachment, the UHMWPE flight contacts and pushes the conveyed material along the conveyor trough while helping reduce direct metal-to-material contact and wear.

Size
The flight dimensions can be customized according to the width and structure of the customer’s chain scraper. Before production, we can prepare a detailed drawing for dimensional confirmation. Mounting hole diameter, spacing and position can also be customized according to the chain attachment and installation requirements.
Other matching accessories
UHMWPE flights are normally used together with matching scraper conveyor chains and conveyor chain sprockets. Correct matching between the chain pitch, scraper attachment, flight dimensions and sprocket helps improve installation compatibility and stable conveyor operation.
