Drag Chain Conveyor Paddle

Description

Drag chain conveyor paddles are key components used to move bulk materials through scraper and drag conveyor systems. They are commonly used with Redler conveyor chains and bulk flow conveyor chains.

Also known as scraper flights or chain paddles, they push and transport material along the conveyor.

Materials and Sizes

They are commonly manufactured from UHMWPE because of its excellent wear resistance and low-friction, non-stick surface. HDPE and PU materials are also available for different operating conditions.

Sizes, shapes, thicknesses, and mounting designs can be customized according to the chain and conveyor requirements.

A New Zealand customer ordered a custom 50 mm thick conical screw flight with a maximum OD of 1.2 m and minimum OD of 430 mm. Due to the changing inner and outer diameters and heavy plate thickness, special tooling and balancing methods were developed to ensure concentricity and production success.

Q235 Continuous Endless Screw to Chile

A long-term Chilean customer added a new continuous screw flight model after previously purchasing four other sizes. The flight measures OD250 × ID60.3 × P250 × L1000 × T5 mm with right-hand rotation and was completed within 10 days.

Agricultural Chain, Chain flight and Sprocket

An Ecuadorian customer ordered 100.016 m of GLF66.5(6)D scraper conveyor chain, 400 UHMWPE BF240×49×14 flights and 4 matching 12-tooth sprockets. The chain and flights were assembled before shipment with M8×35S installation bolts and packed on one pallet for export.
