Screw Conveyors

Screw Conveyors are a piece of common yet critical equipment for operations in a wide range of industries, from food processing to mining and metal extraction. Since they are the main transporting agents, it is important to choose the screw conveyors wisely. The material travels forward as the screw rotates. The helical blade in the conveyor is called the flight and comes in various configurations ranging from standard pitch and short pitch to variable pitch based on the design requirements.  Horizontal Screw Conveyors are designed to have a trough loading of 15-45% trough loading. These are also available as Inclined Screw Conveyors(0-45 Degrees), vertical Screw Conveyors, and Shaftless Screw Conveyors according to the design requirements.

The flight is a very critical part as the pitch of the flight decides the speed of material transfer, and the material & finish of the flight decides the erosion and flowability of the material passing through it.
